Isaiah 45:19NLT

"I would not have told the people of Israel to seek Me if I could not be found."

Yesterday, I asked the question,  "Does God speak to ordinary people?" 

Today's little nugget is found deep in the Old Testament.  It is one of many passages that give us our answer.   Read it again - "I would not have told the people of Israel to seek Me if I could not be found."

If the God of the Universe could not be found;

if He were not approachable;

if He were not knowable;

He would not tell His people to spend time seeking Him. 

The people of Israel today represent those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. 

So, just in case you are not sure if you qualify as a modern day person of Israel, let’s be sure together!  It’s really simple.  With believing faith, bow your head now and tell God:

1.  “I have done wrong things (called sin) and I want to turn, with Your help, Lord, from sin.

2.  I believe Jesus is God’s Son and way of being right with God.

3.  I invite You now to come into my life.  Amen."

If you have prayed this simple prayer - you qualify as a modern day "person of Israel."   AKA: a child of God.

So...  

When trials and tribulations come…

When there are decisions to make…

When you receive bad news…

Allow the words of Isaiah to penetrate your thinking. "I would not have told (Insert your name) to seek Me if I could not be found." 

 

Say it again - using YOUR name....  "I would not have told (Insert your name) to seek Me if I could not be found." 

 

Now RUN, not walk, to your God, Who can be found.  He is knowable and approachable.

Sexual intimacy between a husband and wife is a gift from God. So what is your attitude toward sex? Drudgery? Obligation? Enjoyment? Fulfilling? The physical union of a husband and wife is designed by God to meet a God-given desire for companionship, to protect the husband and wife from temptation and for the mutual giving and receiving of great pleasure and joy between husband and wife.In this session the “gift of sexual intimacy will be unwrapped” and you will learn how to enjoy the gift God has given you and your husband.

Workshop: How can I have Peace… My Closet’s a Mess!

Is your home a haven of harmony and peace or one of chaos and clutter? This workshop will teach your how to get the clutter out of your home and keep it out. You can have an organized home that will being glory to God.
