Join the Facebook discussion this week. Answer the question on our facebook page: What was your favorite aspect of Luncheon?
We loved seeing you again
and
meeting many of you for the first time.
We pray you were blessed and will be back next month with a friend!
We realize that women had to make the hard choice between both workshops. Below was the outline for the panel discussion. Enjoy!
What a Mentoring Friendship Looks Like –
Panel Discussion
When you are
the Mentee
1. Realize your need. (Titus 2)
2. Begin praying.
3. Be proactive in asking.
4. Realize you are in
a safe place.
5. Be willing to hear
truth – even when
it’s hard. Your mentor loves you.
When you are
the one Mentoring -
1. Make yourself
available.
2. You must be a woman
who can keep confidences
without judgment.
3. Realize you don’t
have to be an expert
in Bible.
4. You must be a good
listener. Ask
good questions.
5. When they finish
talking – it will be your turn to speak truth into their lives.
6. Realize you don’t
have to have all the answers.
7. Pray with them and for
them. Pray that you will hear the
Father’s heart in “this” matter.
8. Where to mentor? Dining Room table; Quiet restaurant or coffee shop (as long as you are
not too loud!)
